Michael was appointed Executive Director in 2021, taking over for Westarctica's founder, Travis McHenry.  He has over 20 years of experience as an executive in the private sector, including positions with Microsoft and A.P. Moller - Maersk. He graduated from West Virginia University’s John Chambers School of Business and Economics with a BSBA in Organizational Design and Development.

Brendan Cook joined Westarctica in March 2020 and began working with our executive team shortly after. In November 2021, he became director of member affairs. He was elected to the post of Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer in February 2022 and was brought onto our Board of Directors in March 2022.

Jordan joined Westarctica's executive team in 2018 as our Membership Director and was subsequently invited to join our board of directors after assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer.  He has comprehensive knowledge of non-profit fundraising and financial management and has worked with Native American tribes in the Midwestern United States.
